i dont have much to say about the dahlbacks. jesper is one of my best friends, even though he is a serious pain in the ass. john made 6 records in the time it took you to read this sentence....and he just turned 11. every once in a while they take about 40minutes out of their hectic schedule (john stops making records...to make a record, while jesper take s a break from the grueling demands of being a condo association manager) to make a record for turbo. in all honesty i think they give me the tracks they forgot about..... cuz you know if they really loved them they would keep them for their own lame labels. so, instead i leave you with the music. 3 tracks that prove again that somehow, against all odds, when you put cousins in a studio they bring out the best in each other. jespers maverick genius and time-honed wisdom tempers johns youthful passion and naive exuberance.. while johns youngbrain redefines the game and reenergizes the old master. the two cousins locked in a dance that continually blurs the lines between student and teacher, a sonic sibling rivalry a musical match with one clear winner ....you!!

support by roger sanchez, mousse t, bob sinclair !! since 1999 the duo of p. brunkow and tim.b have produced with cyber production, paris about 10 eps in a very unique style. an urban kind of house with a tribal and dancefloor feel. their music has been regarded from the start as top quality by many top international producers & dj s from the house and dance scene. their remixes include work for afika bambatta, paul johnson, richard grey & crystal clear, defected uk, and yellorange usa, the former label of house legend tony humphries
support by oliver koletzki, inaqui marin, angel molina… marc marzenit is without a doubt one of the covered ones of the electronic scene of dance for this 2007. spheere is track 100% marzenit, great melodies and arpeggios, explosive hit, crescendo continuous and hipnótic to the maximum. today is yesterday - claustrophobia-rmx is governed more by similar patterns but less serious than spheere, and with a definitive attack to the jugular one in its culminating point. today is yesterday - original rmx- adopts melancholic forms with a minimalistic suit in the less contemptuous tone of the word. this does not sound like a regular record? then in the cover and the label it puts it well clear r-e-g-u-l-a-r

when iridite started out they really wanted it to represent a wide selection of electronic music - at the time, many of the bigger labels (and many independent ones too) seemed content to pigeon hole everything, generating sub label after sub label, each with its own micro-scene or genre. over the years we feel we ve done a pretty good job of steering clear of the obvious but we were still lacking a little in one important area - house music. although >ga< isnt straight down the line standard house music, it s instrumentation, simple repeating bassline and beats give forward motion that fits nicely with a more old school version of house along with some percussive vocal stabs and eventually, a huge synth string climax- like a cross between early ron trent, fingers inc and kenny larkin. the b side gives us two tracks from one of the most talented young producers working in the field today - jamie greer, who s tha poke guise gave us one of the highlights of ir004 (uncommon sense), moves >fall fwd< in strong style with his unique take on the (original) detroit sound - remaining completely individual, his sound is instantly familiar and yet never derivative or tired. both tracks have the energy to survive on the dance floor but the subtlety and depth to bear repeated listening at home - proper techno

played by: ricardo villalobos, luciano, magda, dan curtin, zip,.. its been a great year soo far for the talented mr. haze, as he continues to push the boundries of electronic dance music. this record is a clear cut example of why things started to get real, real hot all of a sudden. with this special release, jay s first release on the label he started 7 years ago - jay translates what it is like to be >big pimping< in berlin, germany. jay moved to the electronic music mecca just 3 years ago and has steadily advanced through one of the most competitive market places with lightining speed. so in some sense this record >berlin pimping part2< is another fond dedication record to the city which provides soo much for jay. (the first was jay s record on german label musik krause >berlin pimpin/love affair<)

the bpm has slowed right down offering us two tracks with a subversive and insidious groove...though solidly based within current electronic thinking and styles, this ep stays well clear of any clichés....to quote laurent garnier on hearing these tracks >no other record in my box resembles this in any way<...you need to hear it

after the fulminant launch of the label, modus operandi starts into the second round. this times releasing two new tracks of the gebrueder ton. der gelbe fluss streams like a sonic-river and carries anybody on who dares to come too close to the dancefloor. especially the second track denk an mich captures the ears of its listener. glass projekte – the latest track of the einmusik trio – this track develops massive, but not too heavy. and after the saw comes in it is all clear: go for the dancefloor, thats right. a very round thing, this record

>dirty jay< on a1 is a mixture of steve bug and josh wink in one dirtbag. superfreak meets traffic signs. on the flip side we have two more old-school tracks, starting with >da shit< on b1. short synth bleeping repetitive sounds, a clear drum arrangement and an old school male voice-sample, these are the ingredients of this journey. finally >sophie< on b2 shows us this well-known oldschool dry bass, followed by a unintrusive atmospheric melody. all together will work on your floor very well !!

THE WAY YOU FEEL INSIDE
12 Inch
26.07.05
another hyperpop tune! the way you feel insidelooks set to be their biggest hit yet. the radio mixis another great example of their definition of pop music. charming vocals, bubbling moog-synthesizers and rattling guitars make it a catchy soundtrack of bittersweet summerdreams. the cracklin campfire mixis recorded live under a clear starry sky on the spanish costa daurada. that night, these two fellas fell into a state of trippinemotions, wired under the influence of nature and silence. the flip takes a turn into the clubs and starts with the schizo mix. this tune is made for uptempo breakdancing battles. a zigzagging uprockthrough the minefield of an 909 oldschool thunderstorm surrounded by acid blurps and distorted vocal cuts. finally the guest mix is from cay taylan, who became famous with his debut album su(2004, couch records). he surprises with a punchy 4-2 the floor burner and also with a good chance to be a club floorfiller

definitely one of his finest production to date, delivering a hypnotic kind of balearic peak time action. a huge b line stumbles through the a side track and makes clear why you get that tripy feeling unless the breakdown pulls you back and kicks you off again. the b side track is even more driving and rides on a great tech house groove with a never ending hook! you like it kicking - get this one!

LET IT GO EP

26.05.05
'let it go (dont worry)' comes in that clear and crisp jussi-pekka style, but with the fine acid synths and a punching kick drum it's maybe a bit more impulsive and punchy than his previous works. we're entering deeper territories on the flipside. 'distinct only within' is a tight but deep and floating techno/house track which leads over to 'the yellow emperor' on b2 with spheric and drifting sounds
